Elizabeth Egan "Liz" Gillies (born on July 26, 1993) is an American actress and singer. She appeared as the
character Lucy in the Broadway musical 13. She is best known for playing the role of Jade West on the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious.

Elizabeth Egan Gillies was born in Haworth, New Jersey, on July 26, 1993, to Dave and Lorrie Gillies. She has one younger brother, born in 1996. Gillies has stated that she has Irish ancestry, and an Italian grandmother and great-grandmother.

Gillies' acting career began at age 12 when she started going to local open casting calls. She quickly began appearing in commercials for companies such as Virgin Mobile. She left high school in her freshman year to pursue acting and participated in an online high school program.
On August 8, 2020, Gillies married music producer Michael Corcoran at a private ceremony in New Jersey.

Gillies began her career by appearing in The Black Donnellys, Harold, and The Clique. In the summer of 2008, she was cast as Lucy in a Goodspeed production of Jason Robert Brown's new musical about growing up, 13. Later that year, 13 moved to Broadway, which made it the first Broadway production to have an all-teen cast.

She received the two big numbers "Opportunity" and "It Can't Be True" along with smaller parts in other songs, such as the title song, "Hey Kendra" and "Getting Ready". 13 was a huge success until its closing in January.
Gillies made her debut as a singer on Victorious with the song "Give It Up" in 2011, singing alongside Ariana Grande. She released other songs while on the show, including "You Don't Know Me" and "Take a Hint", singing alongside Victoria Justice, both songs being part of the Victorious soundtrack albums.
Gillies gained major success after landing a role in the Nickelodeon comedy, Victorious. The show premiered on March 27, 2010. Gillies portrayed the character Jade West who is the main antagonist. It ended on February 23, 2013 after four seasons. She currently plays the voice of the character Daphne on the animated series The Winx Club. Gillies has a YouTube account called LizGilliesOfficial, where she uploads covers of popular songs including: "Wild Horses" by The Rolling Stones, "You and I" by Lady Gaga, "For No One" by The Beatles, "Jealous Guy" by John Lennon, and One and Only by Adele. She is currently on A TV Show called Sex & Drugs & Drugs & Rock & Roll. She plays the role of Gigi, the daughter of a rockstar. As of 2017, Liz is acting as Fallon Carrington of the rebooted TV series, Dynasty.
